Christian Blogs at e4God.com exist to shine a light in the world.

Books are good, and the Bible is wonderful, but chances are there is somebody near you in your life now that is “Reading” your life and your daily actions. Is there a story there that points toward God?

Each of us is a light that may attract others to the Lord of All. How we “shine” is through the story of our lives. Our testimony is our story of how God works.

Do you have a story to tell that reveals how God works? Share!

God works in, as cliché as it sounds, mysterious ways. God reveals himself to me through His works. For example, we recently adopted a girl; we had been praying about adopting her for over two years! Just as we began to doubt it would ever happen we recieved a call from her telling us she could possibly live with us. We shrugged our shoulders and kept praying with hardly any faith left. Then a couple months later the phone call became reality! She is now, by God’s grace, living with us!
However the way God reveals himself and the way He speaks to me are two completely different things! He speaks to me through placing thoughts in my head. It is a very hard thing to explain but maybe it would make more sense if i told this story. One night, it was probably 10 or 12p.m., I was writing in my journal and began to cry hysterically because i missed my Grandpa. He had died when i was four now i am a teenager. Then i began to write songs and poems about my Grandpa. When i woke up the next day it was Easter. It turns out my Grandpa died on Easter day!
That is how my God works!

Yes, God does great things! Our minds often fail to comprehend His lovingly laid out plans for our life. I had been praying for a child for ten years. My prayer was answered but not the way I had expected. God gave us a beautiful four and a half months old baby Sharon to adopt and call our own. She is now almost ten years old. The nine and a half years she has spent with us has been the best part of our lives. Her love towards us and her compassion for others brings tears of joy. She is talented and plays the piano. What a wonderful bundle of love and joy God gave us in Sharon! I just thank God for giving us this beautiful gift in His perfect time.

God Bless you! I would like to take this opportunity to ask all of you to pray for us. I am the pastor of a small congregation, we have entered a faith action by purchasing a church building since we are currently renting. We are approved for the mortgage, however, we still need to complete the downpayment. Please pray for us in order that God open the door for us to worship in our own church. If you wish to let me know that you are praying for us, please e-mail me at pastorvictory@gmail. com at this time, what I am seeking is you moral support by just praying for us. God bless you
