Can you imagine, getting in your car, turning on the ignition, placing it in forward or reverse, and flooring it - WITHOUT EVER GRABBING THE STEERING WHEEL?
That is what most people do every day with their spiritual life when they think life happens instead of taking charge of their spirit power and STEERING their life for the desired outcomes.
The only thing worse is a Churchy Christian who turns the car on, puts it in neutral, and then STANDS ON THE BRAKES to make sure nothing goes wrong. This too is a waste of spirit power.
I used the be one of the latter. May now be erring in the direction of the former. Now there is a realization that will hurt…..

I think I am ready to trade a bunch of promises for the simple fact of what is.
Trading Christianity for Existentialism means the end of hope for something better. But it also means this present day is good enough.

If something better is always coming soon then that is a judgment on what is already. Which means one cannot ever be happy in the present. But God said his creation was good.
Is there such a thing as Christian Existentialism?
